A symbolic commitment ceremony shared online. Virtual legal marriage requests require jurisdiction-specific review and are not confirmed as a standard service.

$35 USD
A focused, 30-minute phone or video planning consultation to discuss your vision, ceremony options, location, and next steps. Paid in advance; the $35 fee is credited toward a ceremony booking. Destination ceremonies receive a custom quote.
Starting officiant fees in USD. Travel, lodging, parking, venue costs, and extras are quoted separately where applicable. Guests may request to come to the minister; the location is shared privately after coordination. No venue or witnesses are included.

I'm a Detroit-based minister ordained through the Universal Life Church. My approach begins with listening: who you are, what you value, and how you want this moment to feel.
I welcome couples of every race, gender, sexual orientation, faith tradition, and background. Whether you prefer secular wording, spiritual elements, or a blend of traditions, we'll shape a ceremony that respects your relationship and reflects your voice.

Share your plans
Send your preferred date, location, and ceremony ideas. All services are by appointment.

Receive approval
I'll review your request and confirm the proposed service, total price, and terms.

Reserve your date
After approval, pay a 25% deposit through a PayPal invoice. Consultations are $35, paid in full before the appointment and credited toward a ceremony booking. Your date is reserved after receipt and written confirmation.

Celebrate
The remaining balance is due before service begins. We'll coordinate the ceremony details together.
A few helpful answers.
Can you travel to us?
Yes. Detroit-area locations are coordinated individually. Travel beyond the area is welcome when agreed travel and lodging costs are covered, subject to legal eligibility in the destination.
Do we need a marriage license and witnesses?
For a Michigan legal marriage, obtain a valid Michigan marriage license and arrange two witnesses age 18 or older. Bring the license to your ceremony. Consult the issuing county clerk about application and timing requirements.

Virtual consultations, vow renewals, and symbolic ceremonies are available. A video ceremony is not automatically a legal marriage. Any request for a remote legal marriage must be reviewed for the locations involved before acceptance or payment.
What happens if our plans change?
Cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit refund terms will be provided with your individual quote before payment. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a date or create a payment obligation.
